Decorated Viking tunic made of khaki green, wool (96%). Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides. Round neckline. Similar pattern were used in both the Skjoldehamn and Kragelund tunics, they are characteristic for early medieval tunics. Inside stitch are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand with linen threads. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Tunic should be hand washed in 30 C. Neckline, cuffs and lower edge bordered with dark green wool. On cuffs large hand made embroideries, made with linen threads. Motif of embroidery comes from sword, Hedmarken, Norway X cent. Size 13 cm x27 cm.
