Viking tunic made of thin,100% linen fabric in honey color. Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides. The neck, cuffs and the down part of tunic are bordered with olive linen. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. The embroideries were made with woolen threads, sized 3 cm x 22 cm. The embroidery’s motif comes from horse collar. They are four embroideries: two under the neck and two on arms.
Medium size: length of tunic 107 cm, width 60 cm x 2, length of sleeves 55 cm, width of sleeves 17 cm, length of wedges 52 cm, split under the neck 9 cm. Tunic should be hand washed in 30 C.
