Scarf made of 100% wool, handwoven in a diamond pattern. Plant dyed dark red from Rubia tinctorum. A fabric pattern known from the Viking and pre-Viking eras. One of the basic elements of a Viking woman's outfit.
Thiker type shawl, ideal for cold evenings. Optimal size to use it open or closed with a brooch. Brooch pinning is interpreted from Viking Age finds. The brooch pinning is interpreted on the basis of findings from the Viking Age.
Dimensions of the shawl: about 180 cm long, 66 cm wide, tassels 10 cm. The scarves are woven by hand, so the dimensions may vary (plus or minus 1 cm). The scarf should be washed at 30% in hand wash.
