Decorated Viking tunic made of 100% linen fabric in natural linen color. Simple geometrical shape popular 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and cuts on the sides. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. Neck line and cuffs decorated with embroidery. The embroidery was made with linen threads, sized 7 cm x 22 cm. Motif of embroidery in Mammen style, comes from floral relief, St. Kunegunde reliquary, Bamberg (Germany) 2nd half of X cent.
