Linen tunic for Viking with embroidery, early medieval

Decorated Viking tunic made of dark golor color of linen (85% linen, 15%cotton). Soft, miedum thikness. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and cut on the sides. Simple pattern was very popular in early medieval tunics. Inside stitches machine, every visible stitches are made by hand with linen threads. In front of the dress are hand made embroideries, made with linen thread, sized 5 cm x 30 cm. The embroidery is zoomorphic motif from a Type-S sword, Tragde, Halsaa (Norway), X cent. 

Size: length of tunic 97 cm, width 60 cm x 2, length of sleeves 61 cm, width of sleeves 14 cm, height of wedges 49 cm, split under neck 6 cm.
