Linen tunic with embroidery from Oseberg, Viking, early medieval

Decorated Viking tunic made of 100% linen fabric in grey color. Shape based on a find from Viking area Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides.

Fabric and silk has been washed before sewing. The embroidery was made with linen threads, sized 18 cm x 9 cm. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. Motif of embroidery comes from ornamented bed found in Oseberg. This tunic is a great part of the Viking outfit.

Size: length of tunic 100 cm, width 62 cm x 2, length of sleeves 56 cm, width of sleeves 16 cm, height of wedges 50 cm, split under neck 8 cm. Size: length of tunic 39,37 inch, width 24,41 inch x 2, length of sleeves 22,05 inch, width of sleeves 6,30 inch, height of wedges 19,69 inch, split under neck 3,15 inch.
