Woolen Hedeby Kaftan - Viking Age

Woolen klappenrock made of brown wool in diagonal pattern (100%). The shape of klappenrock was found in Hedeby 10th cent. It was also known in Vendel period. This shape of coat are comfortable, close to body. Warm wool, pleasant to the touch. Inside stiches are machine, every visible stich are hand made with line threads. Edges of the coat trimmed with two-tone wool herringbone weave (100%).

Size: Length of kaftan 106 cm (41,73 in), width under armpit 68 cm x 2 ( 26,77 in) , length of sleeves 60 cm (23,62 in), width of sleeves 17 cm (6,69 in).
