Viking lady coat with embroidery

Lady coat made of thick light brown wool. The cut of the coat is based on a find from Haithabu (Hedeby). The cut is a geometrical one based on a T-shape, with a small undercut in the armpits for more comfort in wearing. Symmetric front cut, with a undercut at the neck. The coat has two wedges, one on each side. The length reaches to the calf. The hem of the neck, cuffs and front edges of the coat have been bordered with hand made tablet braid. In front are four embroidered made with woolen thread. Motif of embroidery comes from ornamented bed found in Oseberg, sized: upper 13cm x 15cm and lower 16cm x 20cm. 

Size: length of coat 132cm, width under the armpit 53 cm x 2, width in belt 45 cm x 2, width in hips 49cm x2, length of sleeves 64 cm, width of sleeves 13 cm. Size of dress is similar for clothes size 38-40.
