Woolen Viking dress with silk embroidery

Decorated Viking dress made of dark blue, woolen fabric (100%). Soft and pleasant to the touch wool with a medium thickness. Simple geometric cut based on a T shape, with small squares under the armpits. The sleeves narrow towards the wrist. The dress has two wedges; one at each side. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. In front of the dress are two large hand made embroideries, made with silk threads, sized 14 cm x 16cm. The embroidery motif comes from one of the Scandinavian brooches. Size M: length of dress: 128 cm (50,39 in), width under the armpit x 2: 50 cm (19,69 in), width in belt x 2: 52 cm (20,47 in), width in hips: 55 cm (21,65 in), length of sleeves: 57 cm (22,44 in), from neck 71 cm (297,95 in), width of sleeves: 14 cm (5,51 in). Dress should be hand washed in 30 C.
