Kaftan made of brown wool (85% wool, 15% other fibers) with grey-green trim. Thicker fabric, wool compacted and warm. The edge is trimmed with grey-green wool (100%). The shape of klappenrock was found in Hedeby 10th cent. It was also known in Vendel period. This shape of coat is comfortable, close to body. Inside stitches and outside stitches are hand-sewn with linen threads.
This kaftan is perfectly suited for combat; the thick wool will cushion blows.
