Linen bag with embroidery from Urnes, Norway

Convenient and roomy bag, fits a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread, it so-called ‘bimble bag’. Such bags are known from iconography, we can find them both in Slavic and Viking sources.  

Useful in the life of a warrior when you need to take a supply of water into battle or in the evenings when you need to take bowls to a party. 

 Made of light blue linen (100%). Machine seams, thicker, strong linen. The fastening is made of deer horn. The bag is designed to be carried on the shoulder. Handmade embroidery on the front, the embroidery motif is from a wooden door in Urnes, Norway.
