Interpretation of a Pillbox cap according to a find from Haithabu (Hedeby) dating to around 9th - 10th century. This type of cap is also known from iconography. The simple form of the cap, with a slight, bevelled shape. Cap made from beige wool twill (100%). Cap trimmed with brown wool (100%).
The inner seams are machine stitched, all visible seams are hand stitched.

Dimensions, cap circumference measured from inside 61,00 cm ( 24,02 in), cap height 10,00 cm (3,94 in).
