Decorated Viking dress made of honey yellow, woolen fabric (95%) in diagonal pattern. Soft and pleasant to the touch wool with a thinner thickness. Simple geometric cut based on a T shape, with small squares under the armpits. The sleeves narrow towards the wrist. The dress has two wedges; one at each side. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. In front of the dress are two large hand made embroideries, made with woolen threads, sized 19 cm x 11 cm ( 7,48 in x 4,33 in). The threads used for embroidery were vegetable dyed. Motif from embroidery comes from stone found in Uppland, Sweden.
Size L: length of dress: 136 cm (53,54 in), width under the armpit x 2: 52 cm (20,47 in x 2), width in belt x 2 x 48 cm (18,90 in), width in hips: 51 cm (20,08 in), length of sleeves: 61 cm (24,02 in), from neck 74 cm (29,13 in), width of sleeves: 13 cm (5,12 in). Dress should be hand washed in 30 C.
