Woolen Viking Age dress with large embroidery

Decorated Viking dress made of wool (95%) in herring bone pattern. Wool woven in two-tone: purple and grey. Soft and pleasant to the touch wool with a thinner thickness. Simple geometric cut based on a T shape, with small squares under the armpits. The sleeves narrow towards the wrist. The dress has two wedges; one at each side. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. In front of the dress are two large hand made embroideries, made with woolen threads, sized 29 cm x 7 cm ( 11,42 in x 2,76 in). The threads used for embroidery are 100% wool. The motif of embroidery comes from detail from Kirk Michael, Isle of Man.
