Beautiful dress, made of 100% linen fabric in deep blue color. Soft and pleasant linen to the touch. Simple geometric cut based on a T shape, with a light undercut in the armpit. The cut of dress is based on found from Haithabu (Hedeby). The sleeves narrow towards the wrist. The dress has two wedges; one at each side. Every visible stitch is hand made with a linen thread, inside stitches are machine. Half circle undercut. Linen was washed before sewing. The dress is trimmed in dark red 100% linen. The dress is decorated on the sleeves with handmade embroideries made with linen threads.
The embroidery motif was inspired by one of the rune stones found in Sweden dating back to the Viking Age. Size of one embroidery 26cm x7cm.
Size: M, length of dress: 145 cm (57,09 in), width under the armpit 50 cm x2 (19,69 in), width in belt 49 cm x2 (19,29 in), width in hips: 51 cm x2 (20,08 in), length of sleeves: 65 cm (25,59 in), width of sleeves: 13 cm (5,12 in), wedge: 100 cm (39,37 in). Size of dress is similar for clothes size: 38/40.
