Description

Decorated Viking tunic made of 100 % linen fabric in grey color. Nice to the touch linen in herring bone pattern. Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides. The shirt will be a perfect addition to your Viking-era wardrobe.

The fabric has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. In front of the tunic are two, large hand made embroideries made with linen threads, sized 8 cm x 27 cm ( 3,15 in x 10,63 in). The embroidery motif was inspired by one of the rune stones found in Sweden dating back to the Viking Age.

Size: 7XL, length of tunic: 100 cm (39,37 in), width x 2: 74 cm (2 x29,13 in), length of sleeves: 60 cm (23,62 in), width of sleeves: 20 cm (7,87 in), width of wedges: 50 cm (19,69 in).
