Decorated Viking tunic made of plum color of linen (100%). Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides. The fabric has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand.
In front of the tunic are two, large hand made embroideries made with linen threads, sized 20 cm x 14 cm ( 7,87 inch x 5,51 inch). Motif from embroidery comes from a wooden door in Urnes, Norway.
