Beautiful dress made of brown and dark red woolen fabric in a herringbone pattern (85% wool, 15% other fibers), medium thickness. Simple geometric cut based on a T shape, with a light undercut in the armpit. The cut of the dress is based on a find from Haithabu (Hedeby). The sleeves narrow towards the wrist. The dress has two wedges, one at each side. Every visible stitch is hand-sewn with linen thread, the inside seams are machine-stitched. Half circle undercut at the neck. The wool was washed before sewing.
Size: L, length of dress: 143 cm (56,30 in), width under the armpit x2: 52 cm (20,47 in), width in belt x2: 48 cm (18,90 in), width in hips: 54 cm (21,26 in), length of sleeves: 65 cm (25,59 in), width of sleeves: 13 cm (5,12 in). Size of dress is similar for clothes size: 40/42.
