Triangle hat for Viking with embroidery

Eastern style hat in shape of a triangle ideal for Viking man. Made of beige wool (90%) with a lining (100%) of linen on the inside. This style has been worn in some parts of Scandinavia (especially Sweden) and in Russia. The embroidery was made with linen thread. The embroidery motif depicts a bird, from a wooden amulet box, Wolin 10th century. The embroidery sized 12 cm (4,72 in) x 19 cm (7,48 in). The girth measure on the inside is 61,50 cm (24,02 in), length of hat 41 cm (16,14 in). The hat is finished with fur from a fox’s tail.
