Viking Woolen hat, Slavic hat, Medieval, Larp, Fantasy, Wikinger, SCA

Hat made from two colors of wool 95% of medium thickness. The hat has six gussets, based on finds (Birka). Each visible stitch handmade with linen thread. Half-lining in 100% linen on the inside. Cap trimmed in 100% diamond-weave linen. 

This type of cap is known from iconography from the Viking times. Based on fabric fragments, it can be deduced that this type of cap was known in Scandinavia and the Baltic countries during the early Middle Ages. It is an basic part of the Viking's outfit, it protected from the cold of the wind but also from the sun.
