Woolen hat in herring bone pattern - two colors.

Simple hat made of two colors of wool (100%) in herring bone pattern. Hat has four wedges. Every visible stitch is hand made with linen thread. Half lining of linen on the inside. This type of cap is known from iconography from the Viking times. Based on fabric fragments, it can be deduced that this type of cap was known in Scandinavia and the Baltic countries during the early Middle Ages.
